Absolutely gorgeous place!! Unbelievable food and lovely service too. Could not recommend it ENOUGH. The pina colada was amazing as well. Will definitely be back again soon.

Great food, full of flavour and a good price.
We ordered a takeout for New Years Eve and loved it. The only thing was we paid for a side naan bread to which was not supplied in the order when we got it home 😞.

Food not so bad however arrived 7:45 and only to be served popadoms in 2hrs till 9:45 was ridiculous, had to ask for waiters to take food order twice we were a table of 11 for New Year’s Eve they seemed to be more interested in serving takeaways than the customers in the restaurant itself.
We were expecting fireworks and live entertainment as advertised but that was not the case when we mentioned about still waiting for food the waiters seemed to just shrug it off, the lady was somewhat helpful in the situation by getting us some drinks and more popadoms as she was unaware we’d only had 1 popadom each in 2hrs I would definitely not recommend or be going back.

I would start by saying that the outside of the restaurant doesn't do it justice. Having never been in, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor inside! The food was delicious & good value for money. I liked the way the dishes were served in small metal bowls, which kept your food warm for longer. The service was good, even as the restaurant got busier, the staff were attentive. We will definitely visit again.

The food is good at Shampan, it's solid Indian food. It's good. It's not warm in the restaurant though.
But the big issue is the service.
Arrived at 5.30 and were finally served mains at 7.15. Repeatedly asked if we could order. 4 or 5 guys wandering about. Tbh completely ruined the evening. We wanted to eat around 6 and be out for just after 7. We left at 8.30 after a 5.30 booking. Honestly it was a joke.
It would have been lovely if we didn't have plans later in the evening. So by all means go but expect the be there 2-3 hours and pack some sandwiches.

Party of 12 booked for 18/08/2024, to celebrate a 21st Birthday. The staff our lovely, so helpful and kind. Really felt looked after and the food was delicious. Thank you for making the celebration really special. Xx

We went to the Shanpan last night the occasion of our wedding anniversary the meal was superb and the staff were very attentive.
A really great evening will certainly go again.

I had a takeaway, the staff were very friendly and efficient. If I had been in the restaurant I'd have returned the meal as it was dreadful. I was however at home when I realised how tasteless, watered down and rubbery chicken it was.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE ! Over 2 hours' wait for food when arrived wasn't anything special. Shocking service definitely won't be returning .To save wasting time head to Passage to India Crewe will not be disappointed like this absolute shambles!

Been to this restaurant a few times, but as I was back in my hometown I decided to give it a revisit and I was certainly not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff are always so friendly and easy to talk to. The service was perfect and I couldn’t recommend a better Indian in the area.

Booked 7.30 got drinks but waited to 8.45 to place food order even after asking waiters. The place was empty one other party in. Been before much better but was very disappointed as we took friends from Belgium.

Been a few years since I've been here and I was very surprised with the revamp...very nice indeed, well thought out. Service was excellent as was the food and very well priced. We did have a group of guys in who were very loud and not so carefull with their choice of language, staff apologised to us...its pot luck who turns up at your resteraunt. Will deffinately be returning.

Nice decor inside and pretty good food but the service was sooo slow considering there were only 3 tables being served. We had to flag their attention many times and caught them on their phones ignoring the restaurant. Not a good look or service. Pretty reasonable prices and a nice free drink at the end.

Amazing!
Four of us had dinner here on Friday, 2nd February 2024. We all had different starters and main meals but thoroughly enjoyed our food. The staff are friendly and attentive. All in all, a great dining experience and we will definitely return again very soon!

A brilliant place to dine with excellent taste of food. It was nicely decorated with spacious rooms for eating. The restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to anyone who loves this type of food.
